GHGeochem LTD is a privately-owned British company located in the North West of England. Founded in 1990, our laboratories are based in Crewe, Cheshire and within the Earth Sciences Department at Liverpool University. GHGeochem is an independent analytical laboratory specialising in petroleum geochemistry. GHGeochem LTD is focused on providing high-quality geochemical data and interpretation services to the petroleum industry. GHGeochem specialises in petroleum geochemistry and therefore has experience of most of the oil and gas producing basins of the world. GHGeochem can provide routine or specialised geochemical services, including contract research.

The bulk of our work involves the routine geochemical evaluation of oils from single or multi-well studies for the petroleum industry. But we also provide a routine analytical service for other laboratories and consultants requiring our geochemical services. GHGeochem can provide the following services:

We provide a complete analytical service in organic geochemistry for petroleum exploration and production companies worldwide. These services extend to environmental monitoring and the determination of the source of gases using stable carbon and hydrogen isotopes.
